Basketball Uniform Options
Sport-Tek Reversible Jerseys and Shorts
These are reversible jerseys with screen print logo and team name, heat press numbers. They are less expensive than the sublimated jerseys, but could wear out sooner, and if you need a replacement there would be a minimum order to meet, or costs could be very high. Screening is usually best for larger quantities.
Spectrum Sublimated Jerseys
These are examples of the Spectrum jerseys. They are single sided and sublimated. This means that the numbers and the logo, team name, etc. is all part of the fabric. It can't come off like a heat transfer or crack like silk screen. This is a good choice if you want to keep the uniforms for several seasons. Sometimes the traditionally decorated jerseys don't get treated very gently in the player's laundry, and damage can occur. With sublimation, you can avoid that problem. Also, with this company, if you need to order one or two replacement uniforms, you can easily do it. There is no minimum order and the code printed on the jersey will allow the company to make an exact match of the original. These Spectrum jerseys are $25 each. I can get a sample for you quickly. The lead time for these is 7 business days from final art approval. These are a great economical option.
Post-Construction Sublimation
This means that the jersey is sublimated AFTER it is sewn together. It is less expensive and faster as a result, however, there will be some creasing along the seams. This is not as noticeable on sleeveless jerseys. See box for more info.
One way to minimize how noticeable the creases are would be to have a pattern near the seams, or have white as the base or accent color near the seams.
