VBS 2022
Here are some ideas for VBS T shirts. Stock is very hard to come by right now! I found these and the stock is currently available.
Program Details
Registration closes 7/3
Cap for registration is 250
Volunteers - up to about 50
There are 100 kids in the camp who will be part of VBS - we have their sizes already (please pass this info along now)
For kids regular youth Ts
For volunteers - ladies cut and an adult cut. Ring spun is softer and more comfortable
Put "presented by Harvest United Methodist Church" under the logo.
Here is what I have done
Found these shirts - orange for youth, heathered navy for volunteers. These colors are roughly opposite on the color wheel, so there is good contrast.
Using screen print transfer for any "emergency" shirts. Need to pick from the transfer company's color palette. Cream color will work on both shirts and ties in with the desert theme. The shirts for volunteers are ring spun cotton, the same style as the dark heather grey Harvest shirts some folks already have.
I found the font that is used for the logo text "Celebrating God's Greatness." I used that to add the requested verbiage "Presented by Harvest United Methodist Church." I used type on a path and made it run with the bottom of the logo. I also emphasized "Harvest" in the middle of the text, as"GOD'S" is emphasized above
Please take a look at these and see if you think they are OK. If so, I will order the transfers. We can then use them to make up a few shirts for volunteers.
Note on T shirt availability - we should get estimated quantities ASAP on anything you can. Stock is limited.
Any sizes that you have info on now, please pass that along.
Pricing: Youth shirts $5.90 each
Adult shirts $7.00 each, ladies or regular cut. 2XL will be $2 additional for mens or ladies sizes.
I am ordering two screens, one for the smaller youth sizes (8.5" full front) and one for larger youth sizes and adult (10" full front)
This includes a screen print order and the ability to get fill in orders with the screen printed transfers with approximately 3 days notice. Brand of shirt may vary with last minute orders, but we should be able to match colors.
Billing: Will go to Dan Funk. He has provided me with an updated copy of HUMC's FL DOR tax certificate.
